  • I'm thrilled to embark on an exciting journey with Menea, a forward-thinking French company dedicated to revolutionizing the world of work. Menea envisions a unique digital platform that combines the power of AI and human relationships to redefine how candidates and companies connect. The mission is clear: to create a career-aligned, values-driven, and ambition-fueled experience for professionals while helping businesses build vibrant cultures that fuse purpose with performance. Together, we are poised to shape the future of work, infusing careers with meaning and igniting professional evolution.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

PROBLEM STATEMENT

  • Menea's mission confronts several challenges:

    -struggled with streamlining the recruitment process, with recruiters grappling to manage job openings and communicate effectively with candidates.

    -Simplify the end-to-end recruitment process and refresh its outdated design.

    -Managing a high volume of applications and a manual, time-consuming hiring process.

    -Revamping traditional recruitment by emphasizing cultural fit and AI-based candidate-employer matching.

SOLUTION

  • To address this multifaceted challenge, I propose the development of an intuitive digital platform that seamlessly automates the recruitment process. This all-in-one hub will simplify job posting, application tracking, candidate communication, and interview scheduling, leveraging AI to provide candidates and companies with meaningful insights such as matching percentages and job scores. Furthermore, the platform will introduce early-stage cultural and personality mapping to ensure candidates align with company values. The innovative solution aims to optimize efficiency, eliminate bias, and facilitate more informed hiring decisions, ultimately reshaping the world of work.

MY ROLE

  • In this ambitious endeavor with Menea, my role encompasses extensive research, prototyping, testing, and design. As the lead UX/UI designer, my task is to bridge the gap between aspirations and solutions, making the platform simpler and more efficient for both recruiters and job seekers. I will closely collaborate with users and delve into the intricacies of the HR and recruitment industry, drawing on my experience from previous projects to craft a seamless, intuitive user experience.

  • My goal in this project is crystal clear: to design a digital platform that empowers professionals to find careers aligned with their vision, values, and ambitions, while simultaneously helping companies build vibrant cultures that enhance performance. I am committed to creating a user-friendly, AI-driven, and human-centric solution that redefines the recruitment landscape and brings meaning to careers. Together with Menea, we are poised to shape the future of work, one meaningful career step at a time.

01/ EMPATHIZE

STAKEHOLDER INTERVIEW

In the initial interview with Thomas, Menea’ s stakeholder, he expressed his ambition to create a significant impact in the recruitment industry, despite initially replicating an existing business model. Uncertain about the path to innovation, Thomas was eager to explore new directions. Not fully grasping the potential of UX design, I made the strategic decision to involve him in every workshop throughout the project, aiming to bridge the gap between his vision and the transformative possibilities that UX design could offer, ultimately aligning his goals with innovative solutions.

BRAND VALUES

  • During the brand values workshop, Menea's core were illuminated through a collaborative effort with the stakeholders and task force. Menea is driven by a profound commitment to crafting a future where work aligns seamlessly with individual visions, values, and ambitions. The workshop served as a crucible where we distilled these values, they encapsulate the essence of Menea's vision, forged in the crucible of collaborative ideation.

Personas

This product caters to three primary user groups:

  1. Recruiters/HR Managers - individuals and companies in search of top-tier talent for their organizations.

  2. Job Seekers - professionals actively seeking new opportunities and the best-suited companies to collaborate with.

    To foster a deeper understanding of these user groups and facilitate empathy within the team, we created detailed personas for both categories (two for each). Through focus group and interviews with potential users, we gained invaluable insights into their expectations from such a product. These interviews also shed light on the daily challenges faced by recruiters and companies in their roles and the shortcomings encountered in similar products they had previously used.

Process

- Extended User research to help the current Menea team define their needs, concepts and products opportunities.
- Designed website for Men new business services called:"Career Partner"
- Utilised market research and preliminary research, crafted user surveys for user stories and
user flows
- Built wireframes, conducted usability test to ensure the direction of design
- Created visual design, brand identities, design system and hi-fi mockups
